Capitalize, the first digital platform to transfer retirement accounts, has been named to the prestigious Forbes Fintech 50 list for the second year in a row in 2025 as one of only two companies in the Investing category. This recognition highlights the company’s significant growth over the past year, especially with its Rollover API that is increasingly used by the industry’s leading retirement account providers.

“We’re honored to be recognized as one of the most innovative companies in financial technology by Forbes for the second year running – alongside some companies we truly admire”, said Gaurav Sharma, CEO of Capitalize. “This recognition is an outcome of our team’s focus on building technology to help our users and our partners improve retirement savings outcomes.”

Capitalize’s recognition by Forbes caps a successful 2024 in which the company significantly scaled rollover volume to several billion dollars, launched the industry’s first true Rollover API to expand its Enterprise (B2B) offering, and raised a successful Series B capital raise in August to fuel future growth.

The Forbes Fintech 50 is an annual list honoring the most innovative financial technology companies in the United States across a number of categories. Read more about the list and Capitalize’s inclusion.
